DB Thesis Binding — Crafting Heirloom-Quality Work
Jeremy, the owner of DB Thesis Binding, has been hand-binding books for years, carrying on a tradition that started with his father. When we first talked, his service had a global reach but no way to show the craft behind it—no video, no visuals, just text. Together, we planned a story that would feel as timeless as the work itself: the clunk of old machinery, the fine details of stitching, and the sense that every thesis is not just a book, but an heirloom. Over one evening we filmed Jeremy in his workshop, capturing both the precision of the process and the pride that goes into every binding.
Thesis Binding, Made to Last a Lifetime
A product film highlighting DB’s unique promise: every thesis is bound with traditional methods and care, creating something that feels valuable and enduring. With Jeremy on camera and the workshop as backdrop, we gave potential customers a look at what sets DB apart from quick, online-only services.

The videos surpassed my expectations. The scripting is brilliant and encompasses all assets and brand work that has been done to date. The presentation seemed quite natural and doesn’t feel contrived – particularly when compared with what is currently on television.
