Project Overview: Working with Jackson Ellis, the founder of Cacti Conserve, was a truly inspiring experience. Jackson’s passion for sustainability and innovation drives everything he does, and our goal was to capture not just his products, but also the powerful story behind his business. Cacti Conserve’s mission is clear—reducing waste and contributing to conservation projects across Australia. This made the project particularly meaningful.
We shot the video on-site at Jackson’s factory, which was like stepping into an eco-friendly wonderland. Seeing him shred cardboard and transform it into sustainable packaging solutions was truly impressive. The video features interviews with Jackson, as well as visuals of their processes, products, and the incredible impact they’re making on the environment.
One of the most exciting moments was flying the drone to capture footage of their delivery van driving through the scenic Upwey mountains. It was a challenge, navigating the drone through power lines, but the final shot was worth every second of it!
Jackson was not only open to my creative input, but also an innovative thinker himself. Together, we crafted a story that highlighted his brand’s eco-conscious values, while also visually showcasing the impressive work being done behind the scenes. The final video is now proudly displayed on Cacti Conserve’s website, and we’re thrilled with how it turned out.
